Ann E. Regiec

Ann E. Regiec, 95, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2015 at Green Knoll Center in Bridgewater, NJ. She was born in Elmhurst Queens, New York the daughter of the late John and Anna Nosek. Mrs. Regiec was a resident of Manville, NJ for the past 65 years. She worked for the Manville Board of Education in the Manville High School Cafeteria for 5 years. Mrs. Regiec then went to work as a pricing analyst at Somerville Electric in Somerville, NJ for many years before retiring in 1982. She was very involved in the Community and her Church. Mrs. Regiec was a member of the Manville Democratic Club, the Polish National Alliance, the Manville School PTA where she was also a past Secretary of the Manville A.B.I.S. PTA and the Manville Senior Citizens Organization. She was also a 3 time past President of the Manville Fire Company #3 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Regiec was a dancing and athletic instructor at the Polish Falcons. She was also a participant in the Harvest Moon Ball with her brother Frank in 1949. Mrs. Regiec was an active member of Christ The King Roman Catholic Church (Christ The Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ where she was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society and had made pierogies for the many church functions over the years. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Regiec in 2000, by her 3 brothers Joseph Nosek, Stanley Nosek and Frank Nosek and by her sister Mary Tumil. She is survived by her daughter Vanessa Horvath and her husband Donald of Manville, NJ, her two sons Tom Regiec and his wife Janet of Ashburn, Virginia and Andrew Regiec and his partner Jeff Menkin of Arlington, Virginia, by her four grandchildren Leah Gerstner and her husband Greg, Nicholas Horvath, Lauren Regiec and Jillian Regiec and by her one great-grandson Griffin Gerstner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The viewing will be on Friday October 16, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512. The Funeral will be on Saturday October 17, 2015 8:15 Am from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. Burial will be private.
