Jean Ketusky

Jean Ketusky, 77 died suddenly on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at St. Peters University Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ. She was born on October 5, 1935 in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Eugene and Elizabeth Husalo. She was a resident of Manville, NJ for the past 48 years. Mrs. Ketusky worked in accounts receivable at the National Starch Corporation in Bridgewater, NJ for many years before retiring in 1997. She was a founder of the Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville, NJ. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who was dedicated to her family. Mrs. Ketusky was a great cook with a list of her own homemade recipes. She loved cooking fresh homemade meals everyday for her family. Mrs. Ketusky most importantly loved her family title of "Grammy" which she has so cherished being for the past two and a half years for her grandson Joey. Joey loved her so much. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling and socializing with her family and friends over the years. She was a member of the Thomas J. Kavanuagh V.F.W. Post #2290 Ladies Auxiliary in Manville, NJ and a past member and President of the Sacred Heart PTA also in Manville, NJ. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. Mrs. Ketusky was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Ketusky in 1999. She is also predeceased by two sisters Catherine Ambrose and Dorothy Raneri and by an infant brother Eugene Husalo. She is survived by her loving son Joseph Ketusky and his wife Judith of Hillsborough, NJ and by her most cherished and loved grandson Joey Ketusky who made her every day pure happiness. She is also survived by two sisters Irene Semanchyk of Ringtown, PA. and Marion Obrzut and her husband Stanley of Rochester, Mich. and by many nephews and nieces. The visitation will be on Friday November 9, 2012 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM with a 11:30 AM Panachida Service at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512.
