John A. Nieliwocki

John A. Nieliwocki, 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center at Somerset in Somerville, NJ with his loving family by his side. He was born in Somerville, NJ the son of the late John L. and Antoinette Nieliwocki. John was a lifelong resident of Manville, NJ. He worked for 20 years at Foodtown in Manville, NJ, Somerville, NJ and Hillsborough, NJ. John was an entrepreneur who also owned his own businesses. He was the owner of Vista Motors in North Branch, NJ for many years and most recently owned a computer business. For the past 15 years John was the Assistant Vice President of Transportation and Distribution Services for TD Bank. He was a 3rd Degree Knight and treasurer in the Knights of Columbus Council #6573 in Manville, NJ. John was an avid automobile enthusiast and car collector. He was a member and treasurer who ran the Classic Cruisers Car Club in Somerville, NJ for 20 years. John was well known for the weekly car show and gathering on Friday nights during the summer on main street in downtown Somerville, NJ. He was a member of the Professional Car Society, the Pontiac Car Club and various other car clubs throughout the Country. John was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ The Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ. He was predeceased by his parents John L. and Antoinette Nieliwocki and by a sister Mary Ann Riday. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Eleanor (Harvist) Nieliwocki, his dear sisters Eleanor Prudente and her husband Gene of Sacramento, California and Annette Plautz of Flemington, NJ, his devoted sister-in-laws Kathryn Perlman of Naples, Florida and Carol Harvist of Branchburg, NJ and his devoted brother-in-law Myron Harvist and his wife Joan of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews and God Children. The viewing will be on Sunday November 30, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512. The Funeral will be on Monday December 1, 2014 8:15 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ The Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ.
