Michael E. Bezick

Michael E. (PopPop) Bezick, (9/2/1931-12/23/2016)- On December 23rd, our Heavenly Father called Michael (PopPop) Bezick to celebrate the Christmas Season with him in the Kingdom of Heaven. PopPop leaves behind his wife Rita with whom he shared his love for over 64 years. PopPop fell asleep with his wife and loving children by his side. He was very proud of all his children, Douglas Bezick, Anne Marie Dabrowski, Michael Bezick and his wife Barbara, Sharon Mireski and her husband Michael, Gail Massa and her husband Andrew, Brian Bezick and his wife Margaret, Beverly Stack and her husband Brian. I addition to his wife and children, PopPop's life will be celebrated forever by his 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. PopPop was born in Jeddo, PA to Michael and Mary (Yakorsky) Bezick. He was predeceased by his brother Eugene Bezick and sisters Irene Yanochko and Jean Shrosky. He leaves behind his brother Thomas Bezick and wife Patricia. PopPop enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Throughout his life, he was dedicated to providing th best for his family. He was an electrician and was employed by John's Manville, Joule, and Mobile Chemical. During his retirement, he was so proud to watch his grandchildren playing sports or listening to their musical performances. He couldn't wait for the next event. He was a parishioner at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough and an active member of its Holy Name Society and a volunteer for bingo. PopPop's memory will live on forever as a great husband and father who cared very deeply for his wife and family. He will always be remembered as our PopPop. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30th, 8:15 AM at Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd. Manville, followed by a 9:30 AM Funeral Divine Liturgy at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, 1900 Brooks Blvd. Hillsborough.
