Robert F. Koshinsky

Robert F. Koshinsky, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday October 16, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania the son of the late Frank and Frances Koshinski. Mr. Koshinsky served his Country Honorably in the 278th Infantry Division as a Private First Class in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a lifelong resident of Manville, NJ. Mr. Koshinsky worked as a Supervisor at the Johns-Manville Corporation in Manville, NJ for 30 plus years before retiring. He loved to travel and instilled that love of travel in his family. Mr. Koshinsky was the past owner of Bob's Radio and TV and was known by his family as the best handyman ever. He was a member of the Thomas J. Kavanuagh V.F.W. Post #2290 and the American Legion both in Manville, NJ. Mr. Koshinsky was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ The Redeemer Parish in Manville, NJ. He was predeceased by his wife Rose Koshinsky in 2009 and by his son Robert G. Koshinsky also in 2009. He is also predeceased by a brother Leonard Koshinsky and by a sister Monica Carman. He is survived by his 3 loving daughters Roberta Santoro and her husband John of Hatboro, PA., Rosanne Braybrooks of Neptune City, NJ and Ruth Toth and her husband Robert L. of Manville, NJ and by a brother Jerome T. Koshinski of Manville, NJ. He is also survived by his 7 cherished grandchildren Lisa Matthews and her husband Tim, Vincent Santoro, Laura Toth, Jennifer Toth, Jessica Toth, Robert L. Toth, Jr., Michelle Toth and Zachary Koshinsky and by 4 great-grandchildren Hannah, Kayla, Isabel and Julian. The viewing will be on Tuesday October 20, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512. The Funeral will be on Wednesday October 21, 2015 8:15 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ The Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ. Burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in New Egypt, NJ.
