Barbara E. Tamburini Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Barbara E. Tamburini, 89 died Wednesday July 30, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville, NJ with her loving family by her side. She was born in Flushing, NY the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Gunther. Mrs. Tamburini was a resident of Millstone Borough, NJ for the past 66 years. She was a school bus driver for the Vancleef School Bus Service in Hillsborough, NJ for many years before retiring. She was a member of the East Millstone First Aid Squad and the Millstone Valley Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Tamburini loved to paint and created many works of Art over the years. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden. Most of all she loved being with her family. Mrs. Tamburini was an active member of St. Joseph Church in Millstone Borough, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband John Eugene Tamburini in 1995 and by her sister Marion Rutkowski. She is survived by her sons John P. Tamburini and his wife Rose Marie of Hillsborough, NJ and Joseph U. Tamburini and his wife Connie of Golden, Colorado. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Joseph R. Tamburini, Steven Tamburini and John Anthony Tamburini and by four great granchildren Pierce, Kellen, Kai and Jae. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ketusky Funeral Home. (908)575-8512. The viewing will be on Monday August 4, 2014 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, 34 Yorktown Road, Millstone Borough, NJ 08844. The Funeral Mass will follow in Church at 10:30 AM.
