Catherine "Kitty" Polnasek

April 9, 1926 - November 27, 2015

Catherine "Kitty" Polnasek, 89, passed away on Friday November 27, 2015 at home. She was born in Manville, NJ the daughter of Antoni and Sophie Lichota. Catherine was a lifelong resident of Manville, NJ. She had worked at the RCA Corporation in Bridgewater, NJ for many years before retiring in 1986. Catherine was a very loving mother and sister. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her. Catherine was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ The Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ. She is predeceased by her two brothers Chester Lichota and Walter Lichota and by her four sisters Hattie Koharki, Stella Koharki, Helen Darabant and Mary Delman. She is survived by her loving son Kenneth Polnasek and his husband Michael Kellison of Dunellen, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The viewing will be on Thursday December 3, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512.
