Cynthia Lee Sorrentino, 52, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Saturday January 24, 2015 at home. She was born in Plainfield, NJ. Cynthia lived in Hillsborough, NJ for the past 12 years. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and friends. Cynthia was loved by all who knew her and she will be sadly missed. Her hobbies included rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, listening to country music, and collecting anything Harley Davidson or miniature. If you knew her, she gave you a great nickname. She took great pride in being Italian American. Cynthia loved all her family but most of all she loved her son AJ aka Jaxy. She was predeceased by a brother Ralph Francis Sorrentino and by her step-mother Mary E. Sorrentino. She is survived by her husband Alexander J. Segura of Hillsborough, NJ, her son Alexander T. Segura of Hillsborough, NJ, her mother Anastasia Konick and her husband John of Waretown, NJ, her father Michael Sorrentino of Lakewood, NJ, her two sisters Kimberly A. Sorrentino and her husband Lawrence Rolnick of Westfield, NJ and Anastasia Bischoff and her husband Michael Bischoff of Freehold, NJ and by a brother Michael Sorrentino of Cape Coral, Florida and by a sister-in-law Ann Marie Sorrentino. She is also survived by her nephews Austin Rolnick, Brandon Rolnick, Dillon Rolnick, Tyler Sorrentino, and Michael Sorrentino and by her nieces Layna Rolnick, Blair Rolnick, Stephanie Sorrentino, Anastasia Bischoff, Adele Bischoff, Nadine Bischoff and Brianna Sorrentino. The visitation will be on Friday January 30, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512. The Funeral will be on Saturday January 31, 2015 8:15 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at Mary Mother Of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Mausoleum in Colonia, NJ.
