Dolores M. Gazo, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Hiram, Georgia. She was born in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Sabol. Mrs. Gazo was a resident of Powder Springs, Georgia for the past 18 years. Prior to that she was a resident of Manville, NJ for 46 years. She worked in Quality Control at Ethicon in Bridgewater, NJ for 15 years before retiring. Mrs. Gazo was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Her granddaughters were her greatest joy and she loved watching them grow up. Mrs. Gazo enjoyed crocheting, especially making prayer shawls for family and friends. She also enjoyed reading spiritual books. Mrs. Gazo was a past member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church (Christ the Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ. She was a past member of the Altar Rosary Society and was an active member of the Church working at bingo and in the kitchen. Mrs. Gazo was predeceased by her husband Andrew Gazo in 2007. She was also predeceased by her brothers Bernard Sabol and Joseph Sabol. Mrs. Gazo is survived by her three sons, David G. Gazo and his wife Donna of Greenville, North Carolina, Mark A, Gazo and his wife Barbara of San Antonio, Texas and Bryan M. Gazo of Powder Springs, Georgia, by a sister Barbara Bower of Dayton, Ohio and by a brother Thomas Sabol and his wife Charlene of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her two granddaughters Davina Gazo-Stampfel and her husband Daniel of McKinney, Texas and Bryanna Gazo of Powder Springs, Georgia. The visitation will be on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 8:00 to 9:00 AM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. The Funeral Service will follow at 9:00 AM at the Ketusky Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum in Bridgewater, NJ.
