    Eugene N. Bovino Sr.

    May 17, 1927 - March 24, 2014

    Eugene N. Bovino, Sr., 86, entered into eternal life on Monday March 24, 2014 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born in North Plainfield, NJ the son of the late Margaret and Joseph Bovino. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph Bovino and his sister Marie Vaughn. Eugene moved to Manville in 1953 to raise his children there. He worked in Johns-Manville in Manville, NJ for many years as a Lathe Operator. He enjoyed country music, traveling in his motor home, but most of all his family. He was a member of the Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club and the Manville Senior Citizens and the NCHA Camping Club. Mr. Bovino was a member of Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. Eugene leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 64 years Anna T. Bovino of Manville, NJ, his 2 sons Eugene, Jr. and wife Delores of Hillsborough, NJ, Dave and wife Kathy of Greentown, PA., his 2 daughters Mary Synnott and husband Tommy of Schuylkill Haven, PA., Annie Helmacy and husband Doug of Hillsborough, NJ., 10 grandchildren Wendy, Randy, Katie, Jamie, Emily, Sam, Robert, Brian, Douglas and Anna and by 3 great-grandchildren Samantha, Callie and Hannah. He is also survived by a brother Richard Bovino and wife Catherine of Easton, PA.. The viewing will be held on Thursday March 27, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ.(908)575-8512. The Funeral will be on Friday March 28, 2014 8:15 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum in Bridgewater, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to: Haven Hospice, 65 James Street, P. O. Box 3059, Edison, NJ 08818.
