Joyce Lawson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joyce Lawson, (nee Verboski), 72 passed away at her home on Thursday June 14, 2012. She was born in Manville, NJ the daughter of the late Steven and Mary Verboski. She was a resident of Manville, NJ most of her life. She was a 1957 graduate of Dunellen High School in Dunellen, NJ. Joyce had worked for the Allstate Insurance Company as a Senior Loan Processing Specialist, and was the recipient of numerous: Distinguished Performance Awards. She retired in 2011. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Joyce was a member of Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. Joyce will always be remembered as kind and tender hearted, and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Joseph Lawson of Manville, NJ, her son Andrew Lawson of Manville, NJ, her daughter Karen Lawson of Tarpon Springs, Florida, her sisters Shirley Kazmier and her husband Gene of Manville, NJ, Marlene Soriano and her husband Bob of Readington, NJ, Mary Klink and her husband Steve of Virginia, her brother Steven Verboski and his wife Gail of South Jersey. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Stella Lazowski of Manville, NJ and her brother-in-law Fred Lazowski of Manville, NJ. The viewing will be on Tuesday June 19, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ.(908)575-8512. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday June 20, 2012 with visitation from 10 to 11 AM and the Service being conducted at 11AM at the Ketusky Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
