Julia Prescott, 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Rehab at River's Edge in Raritan, NJ. She was born in Jersey City, NJ the daughter of the late John and Mary Duda. Mrs. Prescott was a resident of Manville, NJ for over 50 years. Prior to that she lived in Jersey City, NJ and Hoboken, NJ. She worked at the Ortho Pharmaceutical Corporation in Raritan, NJ for over 20 years before retiring. Mrs. Prescott was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed family gatherings and cooking for the family and was known for making the best eggplant. Mrs. Prescott also enjoyed music, dancing and playing cards. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Prescott in 1977, by two granddaughters Connie Ruzbarsky and her husband Iggie Ruzbarsky and by Kaitlyn Kozoh and by two sisters Anna and Helen. She is survived by her two daughters Victoria Kulina and her husband John of Bridgewater, NJ and Julie Ann Kozoh and her husband Joseph of Flemington, NJ and by her son Anthony Riccardi and his wife Patricia of Manville, NJ. She is also survived by five grandchildren Cheryl Luberto and her husband Gregg, Karen Mazurkewicz and her husband John, Kristy Lyons and her husband Brett, Karissa Kozoh and Casey Kozoh, by ten great grandchildren Shannon, Ryan, Brandon, Vincent, Anthony, Gregg, Nicholas, William, Parker and Zachary and by four great-great grandchildren Aidan, Ella, Elijah and Bentley. The viewing will be on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2 to 5 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks, Blvd., Manville, NJ. The Funeral will be on Monday, November 20, 2017 10:00 AM at the Ketusky Funeral Home with an 11:00 AM Funeral Service at the Funeral Home.
