Rita Rygiel Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rita Rygiel, 88, passed away suddenly on March 21, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson-Somerset Hospital after a brief illness. Rita was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna Serica. Mrs. Rygiel was predeceased by her husband, Walter, who passed away in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea King, of Flemington, NJ and Gary Beilman, and her son, Carl Rygiel, and his wife Linda, of Hillsborough, NJ. Rita also has three grandsons; Tyson and Connor King, and Ryder Rygiel. Rita was born and spent her early childhood years in Forest City, PA. Her family then moved to Manville, NJ where she grew up. Later, Rita spent her married life in Bridgewater, NJ where she and husband raised their family. Upon retirement, Rita and Walter built their dream home at Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos. They resided there for many years, and together with family and friends, created many special memories there. Rita was a kind and gentle woman who deeply loved her entire family, and her pets, Alley and Molly. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday March 29, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ 08835. The Funeral will be on Wednesday March 30, 2016 8:15 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church (Christ the Redeemer Parish), 211 Louis Street, Manville, NJ 08835.
