William F. McGuire Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William F McGuire William F McGuire, 88, died on March 18, 2020. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the son of William and Theresa McGuire. He was a resident of Manville for the last 55 years. Mr. McGuire served two years in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1957 and worked for Mack trucks in Bridgewater, New Jersey, for 28 years before retiring in 1987. After retirement he worked part time for Somerset County Parks at the Spooky Brook golf course. Bill was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and playing golf with his friends. He will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humor and knack for telling stories. Mr. McGuire was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. He was predeceased by His wife Arlene Daughter Cynthia A Shubiak Sisters: Mary Caruthers Ann Flynn Ellen Buntz Claire Newell Brother: Edward McGuire He is survived by Daughter: Sharon Snyder and her husband Dale of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Three sons: William T McGuire and his wife Susan of Bethlehem Twp. NJ Kevin McGuire of St Johns Florida Mark McGuire and his wife Pam of Hillsborough, NJ He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Kelly, Courtney, and Blake McGuire, Brittany, Eric, Brian and his wife Stephanie, and Corey Shubiak Craig Snyder and his wife Amanda Jessica and her fiancé Danny Mitchell and Michael McGuire. Funeral Services are under the direction of the Ketusky Funeral Home and are private.
