In Loving Memory of Kathryn Lepore Guarniero: It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Lepore Guarniero, a vibrant soul who blessed us with her presence for an impressive 103 years. On May 27, 2023, Kathryn embarked on her eternal journey, leaving behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy of love. For a remarkable 90 years, Kathryn called Brooklyn her home, relishing the opportunity to tend her bountiful vegetable garden and explore the bustling NYC streets she called home. In 2010, Kathryn embraced a new chapter in her life, bidding farewell to the familiar streets of Brooklyn and embarking on an adventure to Hillsborough, NJ to be closer to her beloved family. Kathryn's spirit lives on through her cherished son, Gerard, and her grandson, Peter, alongside his wife, Sheryl. While her journey has brought her to another realm, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rosario John Guarniero, her cherished daughter, Stephanie Shiffman, as well as her three sisters and two brothers. As a dedicated housewife, Kathryn found joy in nurturing her family, wholeheartedly embracing the role of caretaker. The love she poured into every meal she prepared and every tender moment she shared exemplified the depths of her affection. While Kathryn loved to cook for family and friends, it was desserts that held a special place in her heart. With an unwavering appreciation for life's sweet treats, she found joy in gathering around the table with a delicious desert and spending time catching up with those she loved. In remembrance of Kathryn Lepore Guarniero, a visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the esteemed Ketusky Funeral Home, located at 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ, between the hours of 4 and 7 pm. The Funeral will be on Friday, June 2, 2023 8:45 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a Mass in honor of Kathryn's life which will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Mary Mother of God Roman Catholic Church, nestled on 157 S Triangle Rd in Hillsborough, NJ. Following the heartfelt Mass, Kathryn will find her final resting place in the embrace of Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. Amidst a private committal service, family and loved ones will bid her a fond farewell, ensuring her memory remains forever enshrined in their hearts.
